Hi All
I am using Office 2007 on XP. When I open Power Point the opening dialogue shows up briefly on the screen then disappears. It shows up at the bottom of the screen as minimized but cannot be brought back onto the screen. The same thing happens if I try to open a PP document already saved. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Is this in show mode or edit?
Do you have (did you ever have) Dual monitors set up? |

Hi John
This is when I try to open an existing doc from my docs or I try to open pp from the program menu to make a new presentation. I did have dual monitors set up in the past yes. Thanks |

In Edit then.
Sounds like you have somehow moved the PPT window onto the secondary screen and now that screen does not exist. Can you hook uo a secong moitor and see if it's there? You might try Alt Shift M (move) and then the left or right arrow to see if it will move back. |

If you go to START > Conrol panel > Display > Settings
Are there two active monitors or is monitor 2 greyed out? If it is active try RIGHT click on it and uncheck "Attached" then OK If that doesn't help I don't know! |
