Default automating powerpoint

I am thinking about a powerpoint project and I hope I can describe it sufficiently here to get the help I need.

I will have several slides and they will change daily. I would like to have on the side of each slide a numbering and the title of each slide. But I would like this to automatically update when a slide is removed or replaced or slides are added.

For example:

I have 4 slides-order 1, order 2, order 3, order 4

Each slide will have details about the specific order and on the sidebar, there will be a list of all of my slides by their title-order 1, order 2, order 3, order 4. When a new slide is added (order 5) I would like that sidebar to automatically update to show there is a new slide. And, if the slides are rearranged to a different order, I would like to also be reflected.

Is this possible? I have used powerpoint to do simple projects, but nothing this complex. Any ideas?
