When we open powerpoint it opens a blank presentation by default. I have one of those Users who wants it to just open with the program opening and no blank ppt presentation opening by default, as apparently it's very time consuming to take 5 seconds each time and close this blank presentation.
Any way to force it to stop opening this default blank.ppt? I can't find an option. Thanks. |

Create a shortcut on the desktop to PowerPNT.exe and add a space and /c to the target.
Something like "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\POWERPNT.EXE" /c Doesn't seem to work in 2010 BTW |

Just in case that's not "convenient" enough for your user another way is to have a small addin that closes the blank presentation before you see it! If you need that drop me an email. (It will work in 2010 too) If you DO need it please indicate whether you know how to install a ppam file or need instructions.
