Default Embedding video

I've embedded a video in .wmv format and followed the guidelines in a Microsoft tutorial. Everything works the way it's supposed to except when the video plays full screen, the screen is black and only audio plays.

The usual reason for this is the path to the video is too long. Try deleting the existing video. Put the .wmv video file in the same folder as the presentation and insert again.

Thanks, John. I put the video in the Powerpoint folder as a wmv and avi file. The path was actually longer because I had had it in a desktop folder which was shorter. Taking the videos from the PowerPoint folder, I still get the opening picture of the video in Powerpoint "normal slide" mode, but when I click on the "slide show", I get a blank white screen for both types of files.
