Slide Advances
Question: I am building an interactive PPT presentation. The presentation contains questions that are asked of the viewer. The viewer can mentally think of the answer, and see if he or she was correct. There is no scoring or any tally, its just an exercise. I am using the fade function of PPT to fade an object blocking the answer to the question. The user clicks and the object fades revealing the answer. My issue is that I do not want the user to be able to advance to the next slide, (I have placed specific buttons for navigation in each slide for that), but I want user controlled animation within a slide while blocking advancement to the next slide in the presentation. I am using PPT 2007 and I see the feature that allows for timed advancement and advancement on click. It seems you have to have the latter for manual animation to occur. Any thoughts? |

I think by virtue of posting here, somehow I find the answer.
Triggers, the answer was triggers...What do I expect for 15 hours on a project |

Isn't it great how sometimes just airing your thoughts can help you to gain the answer to the question at hand! I do that all the time!
