Next slide after video
Good day all,
In a presentation I build in six short video's. I would like to automaticaly move to the next slide at the end of the video. The option 'Advance slide after ... seconds' is not acceptable since the video has to be started manualy while the set time already begins at arrival on the slide where the video is placed. So what I need is a way to automaticaly move to the next slide at the end of a video. Anybody? Thanks in advance, Herman |

is there only one video on each slide? |

Yes indeed, only one video per slide. The PPT will be used in a classroom training done by different trainers so I can never predict when the video will be manualy started. Therefore the 'Advance slide after .... seconds' is no option in this case.
I do hope you can help me John. Thanks in advance. Krgds, Herman |

There's really no way to do this but in some circumstances you can deceive the eye! Won't work in every case.
Create the video slide so that the video auto runs and the transition is set to auto after zero seconds (I know but stay with me!) Now create a duplicate slide and place BEFORE the previous slide You need to stop the first video playing which is harder than you think! In the animation pane remove the animation and with INSERT > Action remove the play action. Clicking the first video should now take you to the second video which will auto start and move the next slide when it ends (Ithink!) |
