Default Help with changing between two template formats

Hi

I have two template designs and one presentation that needs to be in both styles. I have done the presentation in one style, and when I copy this presentation into the other and apply the new template then one of two things happen. Either the text placeholders move left around the page, or the image placeholders move left depending on which way I import the slides.

If I click reset style when copyied a slide in before click the new template style, and then click on the appropriate slide template style then it works but not 100% of the time. Although this works sometimes it isn't ideal as it I have 24 images on a slide then that is 24 images that are in the wrong place!

Has anyone come across this problem? I have spent days now trying to figure out the problem with no luck. Help would be really apprecated...

Thanks
Julie
