Received a Power Point presentation and wanted to print it out. If I enable the slide number all slides are labeled "1". I would like to print this out with consecutive slide numbers but can't seem to change the "1" that comes up on all the slides. Using Power Point 2010.

If you view the slide master can you find a textbox with a 1 in it?

John,

Yes there is a 1 on the bottom right hand side in the Slide Master, what should this be so I get consecutive slide numbers on the slide.

Try selecting the "1" and then INSERT > Slide Number

The "1" should change to "<#>"

You may need to do this on all slide layouts in the master

John,

That's what I was afraid of there are over 500 slides, was hoping that there is something you could do globally that would effect all slides.

John,

Misunderstood you, there were several masters in the presentation, going through and inserting a <#> for the slide number on each master resolved the issue, thanks for the help.
