Default Powerpoint to be edited by Multiple People

I'm working on a powerpoint template that will be used by multiple people. I want all of the presentations to look the same, so i've created master slides. The problem comes when people copy and paste or insert slides from other presentations into the template.

Is there a way to take these slides from presentations with different looks and apply the specifications from the master slides (font, color, size)? If the text boxes are in the same locations it works, but if they are different it maintains the specifications from the original presentation that the slide was inserted in from.
