How to nudge a chart in PPT 2011
I use PPT 2011 on Mac OSX for work.
Is there a way to nudge a chart with the arrow keys? Subsequently, is there a way to nudge the contents inside a chart when they are selected? I can only move them with the mouse, and it is not very conducive to small movements. Thanks in advance! |

For the chart as a whole: you can nudge it with your arrow keys when you select both the chart and any other slide object. I sometimes draw a small 'temporary' rectangle next to the chart and delete it when my slide has been finalized; that way I can select the chart together with the rectangle and nudge them with the arrow keys. Sounds a bit silly, but it works for me.

In Windows versions there's no need to have ghost objects selected. It's NOT intuitive but hold down CTRL and select the chart. You will see the selection outline has changed and the chart will nudge. I know Macs don't have CTRL but something similar might work. (COMMAND maybe)
