over the past couple of weeks I have been experiencing difficulty with my presentation not running. they will run in Powerpoint viewer or if I copy them on to a memory stick and transfer them to my second laptop they run fine. Anyone any suggestions?

You need to give as much info as possible Harold.
What does "not running" actually mean? What do you see on the screen? |

Hi when I go to slide show, which ever slide I bring up opens as normal but will not advance to next slide or next animation. This has only happened over the past couple of weeks. I have been using powerpoint for over 10 years and have never had this happen before

Couple of things to check
Slide Show > Set Up Show ... Make sure Show at a Kiosk is OFF Animation Tab > Make sure Advance Slide on mouse click is ticked |

Hi John, Thanks I had dchecked both those.
I have just changed the resolution to the highest and it is now working but embeded videos are very slow and jerky it still not work on any other resolutions. so I dont understand it. any way thanks for your suggestions and time much apprieciated. Harold |

This will sound odd but do you have a default local printer driver set?
You might try goind to set up show again and unticking Hardware acelleration |
