Default Remove footer "A presentation by John Citizen, XX Month" from PowerPoint handouts

Hi all,

When printing handouts for some presentations at my workplace, down the bottom left it has an automatic footer that I can't seem to turn off. It says:

"A presentation by John Citizen, XX Month 2012"

If it was a specific date and an acual employee - I would just leave it there. But it's nonsense and makes the handouts look a bit silly. I can't find out to either change the information - or remove this from the handouts.

Can anyone help me out with this?
