Default Applying layout to existing slides without affecting font

Hello,

I was given a layout that needs to be used for a number of presentations that are already created. I need to put all of these presentations into one large presentation, however, the layout that I was provided does not have the same master fonts as the already created presentations. Basically all that I want from the provided layout is the background, however, when I apply this layout it changes all of the font sizes and causes a formatting nightmare. Is there a way to ONLY apply the background of a layout to all of my already existing slides without it affecting the text size and positioning?

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Kind Regards,

Mike
