Default video shape

hello, it's the first time i post a new thread. I hope i'm not doing anything wrong!
I need to insert a video in my powerpoint presentation and i know how to do it, but only in rectangular format. Is there the possibility to modify the shape of a video in a presentation? i mean, what if i need to have a trapeze shape?
Thanks a lot for any kind reply!

This is only possible from version 2010 and even if done there it will not play in any lower version.
