Good luck with that!
I've been two months on this nightmare. What kind of audio file are you using?
From what I've read, only .wav files will embed in the ppt. You have a chance of making that work. But it's slight from my experience. I can't even get the tiny .wav files to convert to video properly. Ugly situation. Good luck!
