Spell check in Powerpoint seems to be on the fritz. Most words I type are marked as misspelled with the red line underneath them, even if they are spelled correctly.
Also, not sure if this is related or not...when I use quotation marks, I get a double arrow instead, something that looks similar to this: «*


I have a Mac, Microsoft Office 2011. I have checked for updates and everything is up to date.
