How do I save or share a presentation with AVI video clips
I can insert the clips and play them, and if I link them to a file on my hard drive they work a dream, but I have tried saving them in all sorts of ways so I can share the document with colleagues, and the clips turn into still photos. I am so stuck and would be SO grateful for any tips of advice - have spent so long trying to sort and losing the will...
Thank you. PS I have Powerpoint for Mac |

Are you sending your friends the video file AND the pptx??
Did you start with both in the same folder before you inserted. |

Thanks John for your reply - the clips are in a separate iMovie file and I did not send separate movie and pptx files to my colleagues. I had hoped there was a way of inserting them in pptx as a free-standing doc, but do you think it will work better to supply two separate files, linking clips in the pptx to the separate AVI files? You can tell I don't have a clear understanding of how all this works...
Many thanks Matt |

The clips are linked to a file on your drive. Your friends cannot access this file unless you send it.

Is there any way to merge the two files into one?

Not as such but you can zip them. Your friend will need to unzip them though.
