Default How to edit or draw this shape?

I've been given a ppt to update and am having a tough time with a smart shape. It's a three-part arrow that is situated exactly around a circle... see the attached.

I need to thicken the shaft of the arrow to allow for a two-line caption on each of its three segments, but I can't figure how to get in and change the shape so that it's still perfectly symmetrical. Any suggestions? I was considering drawing it in illustrator, exporting as wmf... would that work?

Any other suggestions please? Thanks

Left click on the arrow so that handles (bubbles) appear on either end, then right click on the arrow shaft and choose Format shape from the drop down. At the top right of the tool box, select line width, and expand the width to 2.5 or 3.0.
