Not really. There are companies that offer extra transitions (Crystal graphics, OfficeFX) but usually thjey require a player on the show conputer and also they are designed for conference use and are not cheap - FX is nearly $1000 CG is cheaper but probably not as good.. Office 2010 have a range of new transitions of course including RIPPLE which might be what you need. These will ONLY play in 2010 versions though.
