Animation won't play second time through after return to previous slide
Hi all,
I have created an animation to play on an object when you click on it. But this object also hyperlinks to another slide. The problem is when I return back from that slide (with a return object or hyperlinked back to it) it won't play that animation again. Does anybody know how I can resolve this? Thank you, Logan |

This is by design (not necessarily GOOD design!) Microsoft assumes that if you return to a slide to recap you won't want to see the animations again.
If you DO then put a blank slide in front of the animated slide. Give it an auto transition of zero seconds Make the link back to THIS slide. |

Usually that's the best way in some cases you might want to create a single slide custom show and make the link back to "Custom Show". The animations in a custom show always play.
Example you go to the animated slide from several different slides (Maybe a well done message) and then want to return to the slide you came from. You can only do this with a custom show. |

Worked great
Thanks so much - that worked a treat.
"If you DO then put a blank slide in front of the animated slide. Give it an auto transition of zero seconds Make the link back to THIS slide." Can't believe Microsoft won't give the user the option how they want their presentation to work!! |
