Hello. I would like to basically have my bar graph slide come out blank for like half a second, then have the bars shoot up all at once. Is there anyway to make this happen?

It is possible. Apply a wipe animation then look at the various options in "Chart Animation" (Which you get to from the Custom animation pane and Double click the wipe entry)
