Default Help with animation problem

I have Powerpoint 2008 for Mac. I have a slide with the 5 lobes of a lung that have animations applied so that on click each of the lobes on enter fades in one at a time until the whole lung is there. In slideshow when you hit back it goes back only to the last animation action not to the beginning of the slide itself. My client insists it should go back to the beginning of the slide. Am I doing something wrong. In my slide you have to click back 4 times ( through each animation) to go back to the beginning of the slide. Help

Hitting back (at least on a PC and i guess Macs are the same) takes you back 'one click' (exactly what you are seeing)

There's no simple way to replay a slide with one click of back arrow that I know if there are multiple animations.

Wink Thanks

Thanks so much for your response John. That makes sense. When I try the animations set as "after Previous" with timing, at the end if you hit back it does go back to the beginning of the slide but setting it for "on click" is the issue as it backs up just the one click. I will tell the client but now at least feel like I haven't missed something I should have known. I appreciate your time.

Amy
