Playing a video over multiple slides in Powerpoint 2011 (osx)

Hi all.



I wondered if anyone knew whether it is possible to play a video over mulitple slides in powerpoint 2011 (mac) I have tried quite a few options so far and have done quite a bit of research/googling/looking around forums and have yet to find a solution.

If this isn't a possibility - does anyone know an earlier version for mac that definitely did this? Alot of tutorials point to this being possible. But it would be great if anyone can provide some clarity and/or a definite recommendation.

Alternatively if nobody can help with this I dont suppose anyone could point me in the direction of good software that does something similar? Ideally I want a video to play continuously whilst I trigger text over the top of it live.
