![]() I have Windows 7 and Office 2010, is there a way to trigger an animation by way of a Mouse Over? I have a picture that I want to display text beneath when I hover my mouse over the picture. In the past I have inserted a square over an object and set the Outline to No Outline and the Fill Transparency to 99% making the square invisible to the viewer. Then I would use the Transparent Box as a trigger that I click to launch a particular animation. I remember, years ago, doing this with a mouse over but can't for the life of me remember how I did it. Thank you all. denny |

Ok.. Use this trick:
1) Put the picture you want on first slide. 2) Copy the first slide, Then put text box in the copied slide under the picture. 3) Add animation to the text box and make sure it start: (With Previous) or (After Previous). 4) Return to first slide, Choose the picture and goto (Insert) Menu then choose (Action). 5) Choose (Mouse Over) then (Hyperlink To): Next Slide. Download the sample from attachments. |

I should have been more specific; I am looking for some VB code to do this. I remember a few years ago that I needed to make a PPT that had a Pie Chart in one of the slides. It was requested that I have the ability to be able to hover over any of the slices in the pie and have a Text Box appear with details explaining the data for the slice. Example: hover over the slice of the pie that said North American Sales and a Text Box appeared with the Sales figures for each Account Team. The same for European Sales, Expenditures and such. I was able to place an invisible box/shape over each slice that Triggered the applicable Text Box to appear on Mouse Over. When the mouse moved off of the Trigger the Text Box automatically disappeared. I can't for the life of me find the VB Code that made this possible. Can anyone help????
