Hi,
Is it possible to create a Hyperlink or Action Button to to to a specific place in a slide. I am trying to go back and forth from a slide with bullet points but it keeps going back to the start do the slide and not the bullet point I was on. Any advice please? |

Can you be more specific? In 2007 you can hyperlink text or a shape to go to a specific slide number or give the hyperlink commands to go to the next or previous slide in the same presentation. Are your bulletin points all on one slide and you want to return to that slide or are they on separate slides? Let me know I think I can help.

Hi,
I have one slide with bullet points e.g. -Quarter1 2010 -Quarter2 2010 -Quarter3 2010 -Quarter4 2010 I have used a hyperlink to go to the slide relating to each quarter and an action button to return to this bulleted slide. However, when for example I use the actionbutton on the Quarter3 slide to return to the bulleted slide I always have to go through the animations of Quarter 1 and 2 again. I want to be able to return to my bulleted slide on the hyperlink I used to leave it. I hope this makes sence? |

Is there a reason you have to use the action button to return to bulleted slide? I would use hyperlinks to navigate everywhere so that you don't have to actually step through the slides in any order. Make it so that you have to click a hyperlink to go from one slide to another. Does that make sense? Let me know if there are problems doing it this way for you.

If you use an action button to link to a partially animated slide it should show with the animations where you left off NOT restart unless the slide is in a custom show. Are you able to post a simple demo of what you are doing?

Have you tried this yet? This is the Insert>Hyperlink method
![]() I made a sample of what you're talking about but don't know how to attach it as I have seen others here do. First slide has 4 links to 4 other slides that correspond to the quarter. Each of the quarter slides also has a "back" link that returns you to slide 1 with the 4 links. You could also cut the first slide (like the table of contents index) out of the equation and just have the links in a bar across the top of each slide(like a navigation bar) so you can click and link to any slide from any slide.
