Inserting Video
I don't profess to be a Power Point expert, but I know that I did this before without difficulty and I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.
I have a PP presentation, and I am trying to insert video in to the slides. But every time I try it, the "wait circle" just spins endlessly and I get stuck. I am working on Lenovo Thinkpads... i7 processor, 12 GB of RAM... I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, Service Pack 1. I running Microsoft Office 2010. The files that I am trying to insert into the presentations are all .wmv files. I am running an anti-virus software: Kaspersky. What is going wrong here? I did go into PP properties and changed the capability tab to Windows 7. It made no difference. I don't know what I am doing wrong... Could it be a codec issue? A driver issue? Thank you in advance for any help! |

This is likely to be a program conflict. If your Lenovo came with Corel WinDVD I would try uninstalling it. If it's not that look for a freebie video editor / player.
