Mark text in a text box and copy to clipboard (with button)
Dear all
Is it possible to create a clickable button (i.e. a circle), which marks automatically text in a certain text box and copies the text into the clipboard, for further use? Thank you for your help. Arthur Powerpoint 2003 |

Possible if you can code ,yes.
I would explain why you need this though because there may be a better way. |

Oh, no I am not a programmer.
It is just a kind of "service" for other people, to make things easier. I have made some kind of template (12 different) in powerpoint (with the format everybody should use): - A Textbox with Produktnumer, Materialtext, Size, Length etc. / correct distances, line spacing etc. People copy that and past it in a box in SAP and fill then in the appropriate data to the article. So i tought, if it is easy to have a button which copies the text in the text box. Therefore, colleagues can only press the button, go to SAP and paste the data. It would be more a nice-to-have, a gimmick... |

will the other people be using the same computer. If so you could make a macro and then put the macro button on the toolbar. Then the user could just click on that.
