Hi!
Even if I use the same color in text and in a objekt the text appears darker or more intense. I have set the color manually, in different color-modes but nothing works. Nor the text or the object have any effects or transparency. Pls help. (se attached image) |

I had the same problem, and I found the way around that in PPT 2008 was to set the color of the object by using the fill color eye-dropper from the formatting palette. If I set the color numerically or even from a saved swatch, I would have the same trouble that you're having, but by setting the object color by using the eye-dropper to get the color from the text box, it turned out to be the correct color. I used 2011 for a little while and went back to 2008 (because selecting object in a stack has become even more impossible in 2011), so I'm not sure if the eye-dropper is still available in 2011. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Thanks!
Yeah that works - sort of. I do get the same color - but the rgb-values are now completly different. And I'm trying to create a template so it would be nice if it was easy to get your text/object in the right color. |

You're welcome. I'm glad it worked for you. I understand you're frustration, but with Powerpoint, you often have to be content with "good enough". Here's a funny story. I used to use Powerpoint in 1991, and then I started using higher end programs for years and not doing any Powerpoint work. Then, for one job around 2004 or so, I had to use Powerpoint. I was excited to see how Powerpoint must have developed over the years, thinking "Wow, I bet they fixed this and that..." Well, I opened it and was surprised to see it hadn't changed a bit! Anyway, I had to laugh. It's what it is, I guess
