![]() Hi, Is it possible to have an animation in PowerPoint 2010 which runs over multiple slides? I can place an animation in the slide master, but this just resets when you go to the next slide. It is possible to have sound playing over several slides, but I can’t find a way of doing this for a custom animation. What I’d like to do is have a countdown timer running over the whole presentation. Thanks for your help. Best wishes, jpscience |

There's no way to continue an animation across slides. If you are able to use a screen recorder to record the timer as a small video you could make it play across slides.

Hi,
Many thanks for your reply. The video playing over multiple slides would be fine as a solution. I've recorded a video and inserted it on a page. I'm not sure how to get it to play over multiple slides. Please would you tell me how this is done. Should I put it on the slide master? Best wishes, jpscience |
