Default Send and receive hangs

I have outlook 2007 and using go daddy to host the email.

When ever outlook sends or receives it hangs the entire computer but only for the duration of the send/receive as soon as it's completed the entire system works fine.

It's not a huge problem but it's really annoying. Everything stops, if you're typing it will hang in mid sentence, if the email has a big file attached it will hang for 20-30 seconds.

Help this is driving me crazy!!

I would suggest running the Inbox Repair Tool to check for and correct any errors. See: http://www.msoutlook.info/question/77
