No Anti-spam Available in Outlook 2010
When I try to add the anti-spam add-in by going to File => Options => Add-ins, it does not appear anywhere in the list. I've searched Google for an answer but all the results deal with how to enable the add-in, not how to find one if it is missing.
How do I find it? |

Which anti-spam add-in are you wanting to enable? Microsofts built in spam features are not listed under add-ins, those are mostly reserved for 3rd party add-ins that are usually packaged with antivirus or antispam programs.

I was under the impression that Outlook had at least a minimal anti-spam filter to construct whitelists/blacklists. Am I wrong?

No it does, Microsofts built in spam filter is just not listed under add-ins.
See this for more info and how to configure it: http://pcmcourseware.com/blog/2011/0...-outlook-2010/ |

I always get tripped up by the simplest things, like terminology. I was too foused on "spam" and totally forgetting about "junk". It's a dumb mistake, especially considering Microsoft's history of changing its terminology.
Thanks for the tip! |
