Unhappy Outlook 2007 - Online Cache Mode issue

I've been trying the last couple of days with Office 2007 Plus ( corporate version ) to get a silent office installation that has Outlook 2007 automatically set to online mode instead of cached mode. I want to use this becuase it will be run on VDI's and I don't want the OST cache etc.

I've tried using the Office Cusomization Tool kit with no luck so far? Am I missing some settings or gotchas? I've tried the version 2 one, creating or editing other MSP's and it always goes straight to cached mode when I test a user loggging on. Any help greatly appreciated.

Well cached mode is disabled by default, you should actually have to create a MSP to enable it.
