Distribution list Undeliverables
I have been at this for a long time and really need some direction here.
I work IT for a large company that uses Outlook 2007 on windows 7 32bit. I've been given the task of cleaning up all of the undeliverable kickbacks we get from templates that we send out daily. These templates include distribution lists on them as well as people. When looking at the undeliverable email I try to find these people in the gal to see what distribution list they are on.... they are not listed in the gal anywhere. And I also can't find them on the distribution list (ok well there are distribution lists within distribution lists within distribution lists) so I haven't dug all the way through for some of these people. This method is unreasonable and would take way too long. Why are these people still getting emails when I can't find them anywhere in the GAL? Is there any other way of going about finding out what lists these people are on so I can contact the distribution list owner? Any suggestions, I'm at a wall and my wits ends here! |
