I had similar problem. Simple Solution (once I found it). I switched the
VIEW selection from "Day/Week/Month" to "Day/Week/Month View with
AutoPreview" and, BINGO, my missing appointments appeared on the calendar.

Hope this works for you.
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! Thought it was going to take me hours to sort out. I had deleted Bank Holidays and lost all my Month entries. The AutoPreview selection brought them back.
