Font suddenly changed on Replies or new mail??? 2003 Outlook
I have 2003 Outlook. My default messages are in 10 font like normal (ones that come in and I read or are in my inbox). With me not editing or changing anything, I replied to someone today and the default is 12+? The whole message shows up as 12, not just what I'm typing. I tried going to Tools > Options > Mail Format > Fonts, but everything there is 10 Arial. I also checked "Always use my fonts" to try that, and it still does not work. Even though at the top when I reply, it says 10 and arial, the WHOLE email is obviously bigger and at least 12 or more. I also went to Word and my font there is 10 as well. It also is the same for a "new" email as well. I tried replying to a bunch of different emails and they all do the same. Even plain text emails are bigger, not just HTML. I also tried closing outlook and opening, and it is still the same. The funny thing is also, the Cursor (as you are typing) is shorter than the letters I am typing. I've never seen that happen. Even now when I'm typing here, the cursor is larger than the largest letter I type. So it is like it wants to type what I'm telling it to, but that just isn't happening. Any suggestions on what has happened? I have been using this outlook for 2 years now without this happening. It is confusing due to the fact that I haven't even visited an edit function at all on this thing. The only thing I can figure is maybe some sort of hotkey combo that would have done this as to where I hit 2 buttons at once, but that seems to be a big stretch when software would change something permanently from a hotkey combo. When I take out "use word as default editor" in outlook, then the email looks off from what I originally see, but it is now 10 and arial for sure. When I put "use word as default editor", everything then goes back to being huge. So if it is a word problem, I am unsure how to take steps to correct it since word is defaulted the way I want it to be. Any ideas?
