Default Access pst files on external hard drive

How do I get access to or open my outlook 2007 .pst files which are now stored on my external hard drive?...they are stored there because I copied them all (about 13 Gigs of them) onto the external hard drive, in order to get more space on my computer C-drive (HP Pavillion dv6105us Entertainment Notebook Windows XP Media Center Edition).

I did this by deleting the entire .pst file after copying them to the external hard drive(and then when I reopened outlook on my computer, a second outlook file started up automatically, which I have been using, and now I need to open and use some of the older emails stored in the folders on the copy I have on the external hard drive).

When I try to open the folder 'Outlook1.pst' from the external hard drive, a box appears with an 'Open With' button, which I choose and then I select the radio button to choose from a list, and there is no Outlook choice listed.

Any ideas? Thanks, LOUDONCLEAR

In Outlook, you can import the pst file into Outlook, this will create a folder in Outlook with your old emails that you can now read.
