Issue with appointments to me also being sent to a shared mailbox
Hi,
I have a little problem with appointments that i am invited to. some back ground My emails are all fine they come to my inbox and nowhere else. I also have access to a shared mailbox that some others in my company have access to. When i get sent an invite to a meeting etc it also gets sent to the shared mailbox despite the shared mailbox not being invited to the meeting. The mail issue here is that others with access to the shared mailbox can see what appointments i have been invited to and any content that is sent with the invitation. What do i need to do to stop my invites appearing in the mailbox? Thanks Chris |

Chrisdfsnow,
This sounds like an AutoDiscover issue or delegate issue. First Outlook 2003 does not use the AutoDiscover feature found in exchange and free/busy information is limited. Upgrading may resolve this. Second. The delegation permissions may be causing this. Check both your account and the shared mailbox account to see if you are a delegate of that mailbox and if the mailbox is a delegate of your account. this will be located under tools email accounts > Delegates. You are searching for the option My delegates receive a copy of meeting requests. Question: The original invitation are you the creator/owner? Keep me posted. |
