My wife has lost her address book and she doesn't know how this happened.


she still has her contacts. I did a search for *.pst and did not find any files. Is there a way to retrieve her address book?

Is her mailbox on an Exchange Server? Or is this a pop3/IMAP account?

If it is on an Exchange Server, you should be able to recover it. If it is a pop3 account, if you cannot find the .pst file, then it is gone permanently.

It is a POP3 account. Though the address book comes up blank, if I search for a name the whole book comes back. Each time I try to bring up the address book it comes up blank, but responds to a search for a name. This works, but it is a little clumsier than it used to be.
