Default Lost contacts and emails

Hi, today I was working in Outlook searching for an email and an error came up and I lost all of my emails and contacts. Can anyone give me any suggestions how I might be able to restore my emails and contacts?

Thanks,

Ray

I would try the scanpst tool first.

You can also do a search for any .pst files on your hard drive. If you find the pst file, you can import it back into Outlook.
