I have 6 appointments in a day - I want to replicate these to 3 weeks later; I look in "month view" - I can highlight, right click, drag to new spot and then select copy - that's fine - except I only get the 5 I can see in "month mode". If I go in and copy the 6th using the down arrow to expand appointment list to see the last appointment I can copy - ctrl C - but when i go to new date and highlight it, there is no paste option and if I ctrl V I get my appointment replicated but back on the ORIGINAL DAY. Any suggestions how to copy these 'hidden from view" appointments. I can move them around on the day in "day view" but not off the page.
Any help would be really appreciated. Ooops i forgot to say Office 2010. |

Unfortunately there's no easy way to accomplish that. You can try going into List view and copying the appointments. In List view you can copy as many appointments as you want. The catch is you either have to already have an appointment on the date you're copying to, or you need to copy one of the appointments in Calendar view first so that the day will show up as an option in List view.
Once you have an appointment on the target day, switch to List view by clicking on the View toolbar, selecting Change View, and selecting List. Then click on View Settings. Click Group By, and select "Start". This will sort the list by the start date. Find the appointments you want to copy, and hold down Ctrl while clicking them to select the ones you want. Then hold down Ctrl while dragging them to copy, and drag them to the new desired date. It's a little awkward, but it should accomplish what you're trying to do. Hope this helps. -SW |

I am not sure quite what you mean but I will give it a shot. My problem is what you mean by "list view" as I have nothing evident with that name. Thanks for replying

How do I delete every entry in the calander so I can try and start again - its a total mess and I dont need to keep any of it. Short of deleting appointment by appointment I can't find a way to empty it!
