I've been trying to use the export/import wizard to save the pst files ANYWHERE, and every time I open the wizard, click on 'export a file' Outlook immediately shuts down, 'error' and I have to close Outlook. Tried rebooting, tried closing all other apps, even if I click on 'import' a file, same thing.

Sounds as if the import/export wizard or data file (.pst) is corrupt. Try running a repair on Outlook 2003. See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822238
If you still have issues run the scanpst.exe tool to repair the .pst. See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287497 |

Hello,
It seems that your Outlook .pst file has been corrupted. To fix this issue, find the Inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) at the below mentioned location in your computer. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\<locale ID>\scanpst.exe Run this utility and scan your .pst file with it. This might show you some errors and will ask you to create the back up of your .pst file before starting the repair process. Regards Jane |
