Outlook 2007 Address and Messages

I had to delete my old user file and recrate a new one in order to get rid of a virus. I am trying to recover my address book and past emails to back to outlook. I cannot find them. The PC tech that worked on it said he did a complete windows save and put everything on my desktop, but I I see are my documant files. He has not been very helpful in helping me locate the files. This is a POP3 account.

Do a search for .pst files on your hard drive. Hopefully he could have backed up all your information to a .pst file.

Thanks Shawn, I think when he deleted the user file, he thought outlook would back up when he selected to save all files. I don't think it did. When I look for the pst file, I only find the one I created today when I re-entered all of my email accounts. I downloaded a recovery program and it seemed to find the deleted file but it listed its status a BAD so I did not bother trying to grab it. I think I am just hosed.
