Outlook 2007 with BCM Sync with Android?
I am currently using MS Outlooks 2007 with "Business Contact Manager" on an Dell Vostro Laptop running Win XP SP3 and have successfully synchronized with my Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro Phone (HTC Touch Pro 2). I stress the BCM component of Outlook. This allows me to have a seperate database on my phone for my regular Outlook Contact and my Business Contact Manager. Now that my phone is starting to age and needs replacing I havce not found a Smartphone yet that can sync (not transfer) my Outlook with BCM.
Does anyone know of a Smartphone with this capability? I'm willing to upgrade the lap top and OS to accomplish this. By the way I currently use ActiveSync with my Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and will consider any Samrtphone that can do what I need, Blackberry, iPhone etc. Thank you, Anthony Last edited by alwbass; 06-22-2011 at 11:39 AM. |

Unfortunately Windows Mobile is the only mobile OS that can natively sync with Business Contact Manager. BCM essentially runs on a database separate from the typical Outlook contacts, and as far as I know none of the other OS developers have bothered to create a connection to that database. To sync the BCM on any other device, you'd have to use a third-party application such as CompanionLink.
