Embedding images to email without displaying as attachments in inbox?
I have Outlook 2007 and I will be sending an email communication of our website to thousands of our customers. In the email we will obviously be including our site's logo.
The problem with the emails is that, in hotmail, they are being displayed as having attachments. So, as you can see from the screenshot, all the highlighted emails have the logo included. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10067449/ima...ttachments.gif What can I do to eliminate this? I tried adding the key "Send Pictures With Document" as mentioned in http://www.msoutlook.info/question/72, and restarted Outlook . It didn't work. What other alternatives do I have? Even though I do not want to switch email clients, I tried it with Mozilla Thunderbird, and it gives me the option of not including the image in the email. And it does work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

Hello, if you want full control of the layout, you should consider html email design.
Also, you may want to include the logo in the signature on the bottom. Hope this help |
