When my Outlook (2010) was setup for my IMAP company email I had two folders in my Outlook. I have the inbox titled for my email along with an Outlook Data File folder. My sent and trash items go to either box depending upon how I create them (New messages go to the email titled file, send file as attachment goes to Outlook Data File).



In my settings the Outlook Data File is the default and it will not let me change or remove it. Both data files are saved in different locations.

At this time we do not have any IT support and I can't seem to find anything online relating to this issue. If you need more information, I would be happy to provide and answer any questions. I am sure I didn't explain it as well as I could have but I've never seen this issue before.
