E-mails disappeard from live

I've added my @live adress to outlook 2011 for mac. I clicked this:

after this all my e-mail disappeared from my live account.
How can I get them back on my live account please help me out.

The server has removed them, I don't think you can get them back.

It has to be possible. I can export all mails into an .olm file, but hotmail doesn't support olm files.

You seem to use pop3 for your hotmail account, the emails have been downloaded to your computer, and they are no longer on the server since you unchecked the option "leave a copy of messages on the server." You can also use http for your hotmail account, the http account works directly on the server, so it should be possible to put back the emails to the server. I tested it with Windows Live Mail, here are the steps:

1. Setup both pop3 and http account for hotmail.

2. Drag emails in pop3 account to http account.

3. Sync http account. Emails were copied back to the server.

But when I tested step 2 in Outlook, I always got the following error message:

Can't copy the items, the connection to the server is unavailable.

I don't know how to solve this.

Thanks for the answer, appreciate the effort! but could you explain it a little bit more specific. Because I don't know how to setup an http account, as i only have the option between POP or IMAP in Outlook 2011.

You are correct that I'm using pop3 right now.

You need to add a new account with the http option, I'm using Outlook 2003:
