Phantom e-mail
Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me.
i seem to have a phantom e-mail in my outbox of Microsoft office outlook 2003. If I hit the send/recieve button it tells me I am trying to send an e-mail, but I have nothing in the outbox. I have run Kespersky anti virus and found nothing. I was told to try MFCMAPI, I am new to this program and could not see anything wrong there (not saying that I may have missed it). I have a pic of the details of the error that comes up if required. The problem with this happening is that it locks my outbox up and I can not send any e-mails. i have checked the outgoing stp and reset it to something else and then reset it back. can any one help me please. |

Robbie,
You will need to change your Outlook to offline mode, restart outlook, then you should have the ability to remove the message. Hope this helps. |

THis did not work as I can not see the e-mail, I used a program to see the root source and was able to remove it from there.
The other problem this developed was it some how has changed the setting in my outgoing address. What you see on the screen is not what it was trying to do, i just ticked use the same as incoming and solved that problem. |
