Hello,



When i enter a new appointment for a meeting a week from today with a start time of whenever, then save it, the calendar shows it on todays date and time. Now, it will however remind me next week when it comes up, but it is supposed to be shown on the calendar the day and time it is set for.

I have attached 2 images, 1 is the calendar with the test meeting scheduled for next monday but its shown today and the other is the actual meeting open with its day and time.

I have searched every where for a solution and have found nothing.

please help,

open the meeting and select recurrences. Check to see if more then just one day is selected.

Are you logged in as a delegate of another user?

Where you creating this entree on behalf of another user?

I have checked the recurrence of most of my previous appointments for future events and only 1 day is selected. I am the only user on this pc.
Still and unsolved mystery.

Through all of my tools available to me, I have been unable to replicate this on any VM running Outlook2007.

If you are using an exchange service it is possible to clean free busy information. Not sure if this resolve your issue but it is worth a shot:

To run Outlook with a command line switch, use the following steps:

Windows XP:

• Click Start.
• Click Run.
• Enter the following in the Run dialog box (with quotations):
  "c:\program files\microsoft office\office12\Outlook.exe" /cleanfreebusy
• Click OK.

I really thought you had solution for me. Unfortunatly, that didnt work.
I am on a exchange server. I tried to do a fresh install, but my system seemed to store my mail accounts in a memory because after i unistalled and re-installed, i didn't have to setup my email. so if you know how to to a complete removal, that may fix it.

What you will need to do is fully remove your e-mail Profile. Open your desktop's Control Panel and Click on the Mail Icon > Then Show Profiles.
