I am trying to design a way to have pst files be backed up weekly through an automated process. I would also prefer to use tools that are free or built into windows XP Pro. I have tried many methods, and all have failed to work correctly in Outlook 2007.
-Using Xcopy or robocopy both do not work with outlook open -The pst backup addon seems to only backup the archive folder, which is not reasonable to update weekly -The export feature while not ideal, cannot be automated through any means that I can tell Is there any way to make this happen, or is this unrealistic? Can this be done within Outlook using a macro? Last edited by jbarr11; 04-14-2011 at 12:34 PM. Reason: added another question |
