Default Automated pst file backup

I am trying to design a way to have pst files be backed up weekly through an automated process. I would also prefer to use tools that are free or built into windows XP Pro. I have tried many methods, and all have failed to work correctly in Outlook 2007.

-Using Xcopy or robocopy both do not work with outlook open

-The pst backup addon seems to only backup the archive folder, which is not reasonable to update weekly

-The export feature while not ideal, cannot be automated through any means that I can tell

Is there any way to make this happen, or is this unrealistic? Can this be done within Outlook using a macro?

I use a product called Cobian Backup. It's a pretty nice backup application that is completely free. It will backup files that are in use, such as Outlook .PST files. Really save for the lack of external media connectivity, it's a pretty full-featured backup program.

Note: I have no affiliation with the company that makes Cobian Backup whatsoever. I've simply used it in the past and found it to be a very useful program.
